| Originally made during 1861, in limited quantities, by the Springfield Armory, this replica, authentically reproduces one of America’s most historical firearms. It is the perfect piece for the serious shooter. More efficient than the earlier smooth bored weapons it soon became a favorite as it fired the dreaded minič bullet. This full stock rifle features a polished steel, rifled barrel, retained by three bands. The european walnut stock is oil finished with polished steel stock fittings. The lock is finished bright or color case hardened, with U.S. Springfield stamping’s. It is produced in the percussion version, in .58 cal. |
